Career Development

Explore careers, create your plan

Career consultants help you discover pathways

Choosing a major and planning for a career is a process. Through individual appointments, a wide range of resources, events, and courses, career consultants in the Office of Academic and Career Development help you explore your interests, discern your preferences, and create an action plan for pursuing your academic and career goals.

Make the most of career support

First: Connect with a career consultant

Career consultants work alongside student success advisors in specialized support teams called advising clusters. They have expertise in focused career fields, coordinate resources and opportunities to help you learn more about the field, teach career courses, and meet with you one-on-one in hour-long appointments.
