Education:
- Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs, Indiana State University
- Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics/Secondary Education, Franklin College
Professional Experience:
- Tenure with the Office of Academic and Career Development: Started in January 2023.
- Favorite part about the work you do: The opportunity to have a conversation with students about goals, majors, and careers is invaluable. I get the chance to be the individual to provide the resources to students as they decide their future major and career goals.
- Past jobs and experience: Prior to being a career consultant, I spent most of my post-undergrad years as a stay-at-home dad. I have taught middle school math and had the opportunity to use my photography skills to capture weddings, portraits, and my favorite real estate.
Advice to students: Always strive to reach your goals and dreams—nothing is out of reach. Use this time in college to set yourself up for success and for a career you will love! We are here to help, listen, and provide the resources you need to find success!
Biography: I grew up in Bargersville, but now reside on the west side of Indy with my family. I really enjoy running in local races, traveling, photography, and supporting my kids in their activities at school.
