Previous Field Trip Fridays have included trips to the Indianapolis Zoo, Conner Prairie, the Indianapolis International Airport, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and more!

Many students come into college feeling that they need to know exactly what they want to do with their future, but that’s not true. College is a time for exploration, to discover what your passions and interests are and to learn more about academic and career opportunities that you may not have even known existed. Field Trip Fridays are just one way that you can discover these opportunities.
Explore some of the places you can study or work around Indianapolis and hear from students, faculty, and employees about what life is like in their program or role. Network with Indianapolis professionals who will make valuable connections when you join the workforce. Plus, you may even learn about internships in Indianapolis for undergraduates like you to take advantage of during your college career.
Academic and career exploration and development is important because it allows you to learn more about what options you have after graduation before you commit to a particular major or career field. Exploring early in your college journey can save you time and money as you pursue your undergraduate degree. It also opens opportunities to you that you may not have even known existed.
