To join the honors pathway, you must have at least a 3.5 GPA and have completed at least 15 credits at IU Indianapolis.

The University College Honors Pathway is open to pre-health professions program students and pre-social work students. Applicants must be currently enrolled and have at least four semesters remaining before graduation.

Discover the benefits

Through the Honors College, you can attend exclusive workshops, join honors student organizations, live in the honors community, obtain an honors notation on your transcript, and receive a $2,500 study abroad stipend.

Upon graduation and successful completion of honors requirements, you'll receive the honors notification on your diploma along with the honors medallion and graduation cords.

A connected community

As part of the honors program, you can meet other honors scholars, strengthen relationships with faculty dedicated to your learning, and gain advising support specific to your honors pursuits.

You can also participate in the peer mentoring program and share your ePortfolio in the honors showcase.
