Department:
Academic and Career Development
Campus:
IU Indianapolis

Education:

  • Master of Science in Student Affairs and Higher Education, Indiana State University; May 2021
  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology, University of Evansville; May 2017

Professional Experience:

  • Tenure with the Office of Academic and Career Development: Since August 2023
  • Favorite part about the work you do: I like being able to meet students where they're at in their educational journeys and helping them form a path that leads toward graduation.
  • Past jobs and experience: I was in the admissions office for the IU School of Social Work (Indianapolis office) for five years. Prior to that, I held positions as a camp counselor at Ransburg Scout Reservation, work-study with UE's admissions office, and an office assistant at a bankruptcy law office.

Advice to students: Be open to new opportunities and get involved with campus organizations as your schedule allows for it. Try something that you might not have thought about before coming to college!

If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?
Probably sports management because it would be interesting to learn more about the business side of things you may not see beyond the score reports.

Biography: I was born and raised in the Indianapolis area and am a graduate of Warren Central High School. I like exploring the city and trying out new restaurants that are established. When not in the office, I am most likely to be at a local hockey game or doing something related to Disney! Some of my favorite things include spring, navy blue, board games, and reality tv.
