Serving as the academic home to thousands of IU Indianapolis students, University College provides support to students entering college through the Exploratory program or as a pre-major. We coordinate advising, career development, experiential learning, and support programs to support your success.
University College provides a common gateway to the academic programs available to entering students. We coordinate existing university resources and develop new initiatives to promote academic excellence and enhance student persistence.
University College provides a setting where faculty, staff, and students share in the responsibility for making IU Indianapolis a supportive and challenging environment for learning.

University College is both an academic unit and a support unit, administratively housing several support resources and services that serve students from all academic units. We are part of the Division of Undergraduate Education.
