This field of study is only available to students completing another primary major within the Kelley School of Business.

Students are required to complete a primary major within the Kelley School of Business in addition to pursuing the real estate co-major.

Whether you want to work for a real estate development company or in one of the many business roles in real estate, adding this co-major to your bachelor’s degree in business helps you stand out as a job candidate. The Real Estate co-major offers you a hands-on opportunity to interact one-on-one with industry professionals in Indianapolis while gaining the analytical skills to add to your resume. Apply the lessons from your co-major in two semesters of workshop courses in which you solve actual real estate challenges for local professionals in the field.
Employment of property appraisers and assessors is projected to grow 4% from 2023 to 2033, about as fast as the average for all occupations. About 6,900 openings for property appraisers and assessors are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Current IU Indianapolis students no longer have to submit an application to be admitted from University College to the Kelley School of Business Undergraduate Program. You'll be notified when the admission requirements are met. To certify into the Kelley School of Business from University College, you'll need to meet one of the sets of admission criteria. You'll be certified as soon as you meet either set of criteria.

And with several sports teams, organizations, and venues across Indianapolis, you’ll have ample opportunity to gain experiences to add to your resume.

The School of Health and Human Sciences hosts a number of initiatives for students to get involved, add to their resume, and give back to the community.
LHSI is a paid internship program that places second- and third-year IU Indianapolis students in a variety of health and science workplaces to gain practical experience and skills.
Working on campus for offices such as Campus Recreation or the Office of Health and Wellness can provide great preparation for a variety of health-related careers.
Supply chain managers plan, schedule, and control the flow of goods to help companies stay competitive and to control costs. They build the critical bridges between suppliers, companies, and consumers.
You deliberate over displays lined with your favorite video games. You shop the racks of fashionable frocks. You salivate over jars of almond butter, spicy salsas, and green curries. But how do those products get there? What’s the channel from concept to consumer? That’s supply chain management. Think of a product on an invisible conveyor belt moving through forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing, manufacturing, delivering, and even returning. Supply chain managers plan, schedule, and control the flow of goods to help companies stay competitive and to control costs. They build the critical bridges between suppliers, companies, and consumers.

If you have a passion for conserving the environment, this may be the major for you. Learn to lead and manage sustainability efforts in government, nonprofits, and businesses. You’ll understand public affairs, finance, the development and implementation of policies, civic engagement, environmental justice, and green technologies.
Students in the sustainability practices and policy major will be prepared to lead and manage sustainability efforts in government, nonprofits, and businesses. In addition, students will have a solid understanding of public affairs, finance, the development and implementation of policies, and civic engagement, combined with specialized classes in the principles of sustainability, environmental justice, and green technologies.
